Fatboy Slim Opens Giant's Park
The legendary Dj is set to make history as the first artist to perform at Belfast's newest venue
Located on the north foreshore of Belfast Lough, Giant's Park is soon to be Belfast's newest concert venue, opening on May 8 with legendary Dj and electronic music extraordinaire, Norman Cook - better known as big-beat spinning, chart-topper Fatboy Slim - headlining the electronic event.
Organisers PLM Promotions are sure Fatboy Slim, renowned for spectacular open air events such as the parties on the beach in Brighton, will deliver a magical atmosphere to the city.
Promoter Eddie Wray says, 'This is one of our proudest moments so far; to finally bring the legendary Fatboy Slim and a host of top guests to an exciting new Belfast concert site with all the fun of the fair, special late finish and fantastic high tech show - I can't wait!'
From playing to 250,000 people in his home town of Brighton to headlining Glastonbury and grabbing number one hits, Fatboy Slim is both a pioneer and true superstar of his profession, notching up four solo artist albums -

Tracks like ‘Praise You’, ‘Right Here, Right Now’, ‘The Rockafeller Skank’, ‘Gangster Tripping’, ‘Star 69’, ‘Weapon Of Choice’ and ‘Demons’make up just some of the smash hit records accredited to the producer who has headlined major global festivals like the O2 Wireless Festival, Good Vibrations, Global Gathering, Rockness Festival and of course two appearances at the world renowned Glastonbury.
The exciting event will have Deadmau5, Kissy Sell Out, Zane Lowe among others set to take to the decks.
