The Linen Hall Library in Belfast has launched a new online service giving users access to its extensive postcard collection showing Irish landmarks, towns and cities photographed over the past 100 years.

At the touch of a button, the general public can access quaint postcards and send them anywhere in the world from just £2.50. The web-based app, Postcards Ireland, can be accessed by any mobile device or computer, and can also be shared on popular social networking channels.

To order a postcard is simple. The images are categorized for easy search. Choose your picture, type in your personal message and pay online (most major credit cards are accepted). The postcard will be delivered in three to five days for UK addresses; international postage delivery will vary depending on address. See a selection of postcards available below.
