Robb Murphy Runs Wild on Belfast Zoo

The animals are let loose in the video for the Comber-born songwriter's latest single, recorded in collaboration with the Ulster String Quartet

Belfast-based musician Robb Murphy releases the third single from current album Sleep Tonight into the wild on October 9. Before it's made available for purchase however, the accompanying music video sees a few different kinds of beasts set free on the public at large.

Shot on location at Belfast Zoo and Lurgan town centre, the video for 'Headstrong' sees costumed critters stage a great escape from the popular visitor attraction as well some breathtaking drone footage from high above.

The single follows on from previous album tracks 'The Mysteries of the Heart' and a re-mastered live, acoustic version of 'The Darker Side'. With additional studio work by Bon Iver producer Roger Seibel, Sleep Tonight was recorded at Mill Valley Studios in Belfast, with its creation supported by the Ulster String Quartet.

Headstrong is available to download from Bandcamp or purchase as a seven inch vinyl from October 9.
