Titanic Shift for Belsonic
First wave of acts announced as the annual concert series uproots for 2016
After nine years in the familiar surrounds of Custom House Square, Belsonic is getting a facelift for 2016. As well as moving from its traditional time slot in August to the earlier period of June, the popular music festival is relocating to Titanic Belfast to make room for its 'most ambitious line-up to date'.
The first announcement of international headline acts offers something for all music lovers to enjoy, with Ellie Goulding, David Guetta, Faithless, Foals, Tiesto, Biffy Clyro, Stereophonics, Bring Me The Horizon, Oliver Heldens and Robin Schultz all confirmed to be performing so far.
The new site for the gigs at the Titanic Building grounds will provide greater space for catering facilities, enhanced staging, sound and lighting, and an improved VIP area - not to mention a breathtaking backdrop to some of the world's biggest artists.
