Submit to Royal Ulster Academy Exhibition
Artists working in all disciplines invited to enter up to three works for consideration to be displayed in the Ulster Museum from October 2015
Submission to the annual group exhibition organised by the Royal Ulster Academy has now officially opened, with artists working in all disciplines and from all backgrounds and abilities encouraged to enter work.
Founded in 1879, the Royal Ulster Academy is the largest and longest established body of practicing visual artists in Northern Ireland.
One of the founding principles of the academy was to hold an annual exhibition of work by both members and non-members of merit. Now in its 134th year, this event remains one of the highlights of the Northern Ireland arts calendar, attracting over 80,000 visitors in 2014.
This year's annual exhibition will be held at the Ulster Museum, Belfast from October 16, 2015 to January 3, 2016, and will once again be sponsored by KPMG, the leading Accounting and Professional Advisory Firm.
The exhibition will showcase original works across the disciplines of the visual arts by emerging and established artists. An online short-listing process has now begun.
Artists can enter a maximum of three works in any medium, by midnight on Wednesday, June 17. Notification of the short-listing process will be circulated by July 8.
