The Ardhowen Theatre, situated in a panoramic Lakeview opened in 1986. It hosts programme of professional drama, classical music, opera, ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, blues, variety, comedy, country music, puppets, mime, children's events, traditional Irish music and dance, ethnic arts and lectures, including community-based and amateur events such as plays, concerts, charity events and school performances.
