From Broadway to Bardic

Start your New Year with a musical bang at Bardic Theatre in the blockbuster feast ‘From Broadway to Bardic’

Beat the winter blues with a selection of musical theatre hits from Broadway, the West End and a host of cinematic classics, each presented by Bardic performers including Brian Mills, Conor Begley, ‘Daybreak’ singer David McCrory, BBC Radio Ulster’s Karen Kirby and lots more.

Bardic producer Sean Faloon will lead a top class team including his grand-daughter Stephanie who not only will perform in a lead role, but who also takes the reins as Director for the first time.

'I am really enjoying watching our rehearsals take shape under Stephanie’s creative eye and the fantastic production team and cast we have pulled together for thisshow,' said Sean.

'This is an opportunity to sample worldwide sing-along classics with an ‘all-in-one’ production and a carefully selected mix of musical favouriteswhich certainly won’t disappoint. 'Fans of timeless cinematic classics will enjoy scenes from Les Miserables, Singin’ in the Rain and the crazy and colourful Rocky Horror Show,' he continued.

'We also have scenes from new releases such as Once-The Musical and Matilda as well as American favourites including Chicago, Jersey Boys and more. Rehearsals with our 40-strong cast are now well underway and we can’t wait for opening night!'

The top class production team includes Musical Director Emer Quinn, Choreographer Jamie-Lee Maneely, Lighting Designer James McFetridge and Set Designer Stuart Marshall.

Performances will begin nightly on Friday 31 January (except Mondays and Tuesdays) and matinee performances will take place on Sat 8, Sun 9 and Sat 15 February at 3pm.
