Humdinger! Children's Book Festival in Derry~Londonderry

Derry~Londonderry plays host to Roddy Doyle, Julia Donaldson, Rasta Mouse and many more from March 7 - 9

Humdinger! celebrates words, stories and imagination, and features some of the biggest and best-loved names in children’s books, including Julia Donaldson, Roddy Doyle, Meg Rosoff, Alex T Smith and Malachy Doyle.

Humdinger! is Dog Ears' first full children’s book festival, and kicks-off on World Book Day, March 7, 2013. Dog Ears is an award-winning children’s media company based in Derry~Londonderry, making books, apps, television shows and events for children.

The Humdinger! programme showcases fun, family-friendly, innovative events over three days, in a range of venues across Derry~Londonderry. Children will have a chance to meet their favourite authors and illustrators, experience beautiful music, take part in craft workshops, develop new skills and have their imaginations sparked.
