Georgie Fame headlines Belfast City Blues

Full programme of great blues over bank holiday weekend

For a second year, the Belfast City Blues Festival is descending throughout various venues in the city over the August bank holiday weekend.

The festival this year is bringing in over forty acts from Australia, England, Scotland and Ireland, culminating in a show at the Oh Yeah music centre, headlined by the legendary Georgie Fame (see video above). Also don't miss performances from Dr. Feelgood founding member and guitarist Wilko Johnston and the charismatic Mirenda Rosenberg and her band.

With many of the gigs free, there's something for anyone - blues cruises, afternoon sessions and rocking night time shows.

For more details of the festival which runs from 26 - 29 August 2010, check out belfastcityblues.com or  view the gig listings.
