Olympic Torch Relay Concert at Belfast City Hall

General Fiasco to headline a varied bill of artists and former Olympians

General Fiasco are set to top the bill at a free outdoor concert at Belfast City Hall this June to mark the arrival of the Olympic Torch in Belfast.

A packed programme of entertainment, which will be broadcast live on the BBC, has been lined up for the evening of Wednesday, June 6, when the torch will arrive at City Hall and be officially received by the Lord Mayor.

The concert will also feature former Olympians, dance act Twist and Pulse (finalists in Britain’s Got Talent in 2010), Sontas (a traditional fusion music group) and the City of Belfast School of Music Junior Choir. Tickets are available from the Belfast Welcome Centre now.

The Torch will arrive in Belfast from the Isle of Man late on the evening of Saturday, June 2. It will visit Portrush on June 3, Derry~Londonderry and June 4 and Newry on June 5, before visiting Dublin. Outdoor events are also planned for each of the aforementioned destinations.

Tickets are available for the Belfast City Hall concert from the Belfast Welcome Centre, Donegall Place, on a first come first served basis, with a limit of four tickets per person.
