Planetlove Festival full lineup revealed

Fatboy Slim, Kaskade, DJ Berrie and Mauro Picotto join the party

Dance fans will be pleased to know the Planetlove Festival have just revealed the full line-up for their 2010 festival at Belfast’s King’s Hall Showgrounds.

The two day spectacular, which runs over 10 - 11 September,  has just topped up their lineup with acts Fatboy Slim, Kaskade, DJ Berrie, Eddie Halliwell, Mauro Picotto and a host of others.

Organiser Eddie Wray says that this year’s festival is the most exciting and varied to date:

'We have secured a city centre site, it's easily accessible to everyone, and it is weather-friendly, meaning no mud. We also have the biggest Planetlove line-up of all time, two days at half the normal cost, and headline acts we could only have dreamt of in the past. Roll on September!'

DJ and producer Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, is quickly making Belfast his second home, helping headline the festival after playing the city back in May at an outdoor concert in Giant’s Park.

Chicago producer Kaskade is secured a headline slot alongside New Yorker DJ Berrie, regularly booked by P. Diddy, Kanye West and 50 Cent for their private parties.

Trance fans will be pleased to see Eddie Halliwell and Dutch wonderkid Ummet Ozcan take to the stage, while techno and electro enthusiasts can party with Mauro Picotto, Paul Ritch, Michael Woods and Thomas Gandey.

The new additions join previously announced headline acts like Run DMC’s Rev Run, Calvin Harris, Example, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Chuckie, John O’Callaghan and Armin van Buuren. In total over 70 artists are performing across ten arenas over the weekend, with the complete festival experience including a funfair, stalls, merchandise shops, world foods and event surprises, all located in a specially constructed festival village.

Weekend Tickets for the festival are priced £69.95 (standard) and £99.95 (VIP). Friday Only tickets priced £39.95 (standard) and £49.95 (VIP), Saturday Only tickets cost £49.95 (standard) and £74.95 (VIP).
