Bangor's annual celebration of Irish writing builds on last year's 25th anniversary with 10 days of eclectic events for all ages

Ards and North Down Borough Council are delighted to present this year’s Aspects Festival that once again celebrates the very best of Irish writing. After the success of last year’s 25th anniversary celebrations, this year’s festival is filled with poetry, music, theatre, history, memoir, exhibitions, interviews and readings.

Don’t miss out on names like Colm Tóibín, Frank McGuinness and Carol Drinkwater. From poetry to live music with Joshua Burnside and Gruffalo Yoga for the kids, the eclectic programme has something for everyone!

Speaking about the Festival, Ards and North Down Borough Council’s Arts Officer, Patricia Hamilton said; 'We are excited to bring this diverse Aspects programme to Bangor. It showcases the immense writing talent from this area and throughout Ireland.'
