Ireland's biggest community festival returns to West Belfast with nineties girl group All Saints and The Kooks amongst those so far announced

The countdown has begun to Ireland’s biggest community festival, as organisers of August Féile announce the first of their Falls Park headlining acts for 2016.

Popular English rock band The Kooks will be headlining the Féile on Saturday August 6, followed by the coolest girl group of the nineties and noughties - All Saints on Sunday 7 August.

Féile has also confirmed that this year’s Clonard Concert on Tuesday August 9 will find three giants of Irish Music - Sharon Shannon, Frances Black and Mary Coughlan - coming together for one night only.

On Thursday August 11, '80s legend and headliner Holly Johnson of Frankie Goes to Hollywood will be getting Falls Park to Relax, while Roland Gift of Fine Young Cannibals will be driving the crowd crazy.

Double Dutch Dance giants Showtek will be headlining the Féile Big Top for the Dance Night on Friday August 12 with support from Tom Swoon, TV Noise and Timmy Trumpet.

Scottish popsters Deacon Blue will hit the Big Top on Saturday August 13. Organisers are promising more big announcements to follow shortly.
