The main shows will be supported by performances from the talented young circus stars from Belfast Community Circus School and the North West Circus School. By night the festival welcomes some of Northern Ireland top cabaret acts and music to perform at the ‘Gypsy Ball’ event on Saturday night. Following last year’s success leading comedians will be re-introduced to play at the ‘Live Laughter at the Big Top’ event on Sunday night.

The Festival attracts people of all ages from right across the North West and visitors to the city alike; it brings people together from all walks of life for a shared cultural experience. It also highlights Derry City as an exciting and progressive destination for events and arts activity and there really is something for everybody to enjoy.

Carnival of Colours is a showcase and celebration of In Your Space’s year round work with children and young people from communities across the North West; and the Street Theatre and performance work delivered across Northern Ireland. Nicky Harley, Artistic Director of the Carnival of Colours said: ‘We are so excited about this year’s line-up. I absolutely believe this is the most incredible programme we've brought to the North West to date with world class acts from the USA , the UK and Ireland as well as some of our local favourites. The whole weekend promises to be a hugely colourful event where you can laugh by day and dance by night. I know I will be!’
