Causeway Coast Surf Festival 2015
Annual surf festival featuring surf competitions, art exhibitions, film screenings, games and activities for all the family!
DatesSaturday, 29 August 2015 to Sunday, 30 August 2015
The Causeway Coast Surf Festival is being organised and run by The Causeway Coast Surf Club (CCSC) which is the oldest surf club in Northern Ireland and is based in the hub of Northern Irish surfing, Portrush. The club aims to develop surfing as a sport and lifestyle choice for all those who wish to join.
Surfing is one of the fastest growing sports on the Island of Ireland, offering many choices to those who wish to access our ocean. We aim to help all those who wish to enjoy thrill of riding waves on the many top class beaches of the Causeway Coast.
The festival site base will be at West Strand in Portrush with activities available for all the family including beach sports, surf school lessons and demos, climbing wall, SNAG fun golf, surf product demos & stalls, and much more.
Live music and DJs will provide the soundtrack throughout the day down at the beach, and a surf film night is being run at The Playhouse cinema on the Saturday evening, as well as a photography exhibition in the Arcadia building in town over the weekend.
