Christmas blues and a new year? Don't worry about any of that. Out To Lunch Festival is returning to the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast for a wealth of events, covering venues such as the Black Box, the Ulster Hall, St Anne's Cathedral and many other unique locations. It's something which will replace your Christmas dinner anyway.

Out To Lunch Festival 2017 will take place from January 6th and carry on right through to January 29th with a whole range of events of offer. From DJ sets to comedy, as well as music and much more, you will find at least something keep you satisfied, and did we mention the food? The majority of the events will be taking place around lunch time and into the evening so make sure you double check.

What can you expect to see, do or hear? Well already confirmed are some high profile perfromances, most notably snooker legend Steve Davis will be performing alongside Kavus Torabi. The two will perform a DJ set together, and this pairing has become highly demanded on the festival circuit in the world of dance music, an unusual pairing but one which seems to work! Experimental, out there, this is going to be a performance not to be missed at the Black Box. Other notable performances that have been announced for the festival include NHS Doctor, comedian, BBC broadcaster and all round funny man Dr Phil Hammond, who will be bringing his laugh out loud moments to Out To Lunch Festival 2017.

Also on the cards is a cool little collaborative performance from Ulaid and Duke Special, bringing together their sounds and styles to perform a new project 'Belfast Suite'. It features a number of collaborative compilations as they feature some of the gems of Belfast city. Again, another event not to be missed it possible. James Vincent McMorrow, Irish album chart topper and highly successful musician, will be taking to the Ulster Hall following the release of his third album 'We Move', and this album has already seen an array of support arrive for him.

The excitement is beginning to build for Out To Lunch Festival 2017 and this is only a selection of what is to come over the course of January. You can find out more on the festival here with links to buy tickets for events included.
