The second edition of Moving On Music's contemporary music week brings the best local and international talent to Belfast

Welcome to the second edition of Tempered - Belfast’s very own contemporary music week. Meshing local and international talent, Tempered brings the very best New Music, to Belfast.

This year we welcome world renowned New York string quartet JACK, Belfast’s contemporary music collective Hard Rain Soloist Ensemble, Thomas Strønen’s ‘Time is a Blind Guide’, a celebration of Erik Satie with ‘Following The Velvet Gentleman’, and a screening and live music soundtrack to Football as Never Before; a 1971 portrait of Manchester United legend George Best.

Tempered will also present the world premiere of a new work by Andrew Hamilton, commissioned by Moving On Music with funds from ACNI Small Grants Programme.

Tickets can be purchased separately for each event or a full Tempered ticket is available for just £30 entitling you to come along to all concerts (excluding Football as Never Before).
